Directly in the city of Vienna, theTherme Wien constitutes the largest thermal baths facility in the city. It works best for a short spa visit after a long, hard working day. With a water temperature of up to 36°C, here you can easily switch off. In the evenings, there is even the option of an After-Work ticket.

In direct proximity to the city, there is one spa facility in Baden bei Wien. There are, however, 3 more modern spas within a 60 minute radius (by car or train).
Römertherme Baden
TheRömerthermein Baden bei Wien is one of the most popular spas in the city’s surrounding area. With a wellness area of 3,500m², there are plenty of opportunities to relax.The main hall, the largest freely suspended glass ceiling in Europe, houses vitality and children’s pools with a water temperature of 32°C.
For visitors that like things a bit warmer, there is a whirlpool and a pool with thermal sulphur water at 36°C. When visiting this spa, you absolutely have to take advantage of the sauna facilities with two Finnish saunas, a Swiss pine outdoor sauna, an organic sauna with colour therapy, a Roman steam bath and infrared cabins.
Linsberg Asia Spa
A bit further south of Baden, in Bad Erlach bei Wiener Neustadt, you will find the Linsberg AsiaSpa. Unlike other spa facilities, this lovely, appealing facility with many areas for relaxation and indulgence is still relatively new.
With an area of 15,000m² including 8 pools indoors and outdoors, as well as nine different saunas, all visitors are sure to have a lovely time here. Please note: This is one of the first spas in Austria directed atguests aged 16 and up.
How to reach Linsberg Asia Spa: Connections from Vienna are available almost every hour. Bad Erlach can be reached quickly by train from the Wien Meidling station (in approx. 40 minutes without changeover, 60 minutes with changeover in Wiener Neustadt).

St. Martin’s Spa and Lodge
A further highlight under an hour from Vienna is the wellness and spa landscape of St. Martin. This beautiful spa facility is located in Burgenland’s Seewinkel. The wellness offering comprises indoor and outdoor pools, an outdoor saltwater pool and a sauna landscape.
In summer, the facility also expands its offer with a sunset terrace and summer island. There is also an outdoor summer bar.
How to reach St. Martin’s Spa and Lodge: Frauenkirchen is located approx. 1 hour away from Vienna by car and you can get there by train from Vienna Hauptbahnhof.Guests of the lodge are picked up from Frauenkirchen Railway Station by St. Martin Spa employees.

Therme Laa – Hotel Silent Spa
Another wellness highlight near Vienna city can be found to the north. TheTherme Laa, which is supplied by a hot spring, a sodium-chloride mineral thermal spring. The range of thermal water pools includes an indoor thermal pool with a water current and massage benches (34°C), an outdoor massage pool(34°C), an outdoor saltwater pool (water temperature 29°C in winter, 25°C in summer) and a water slide for children, as well as a children’s area, guaranteeing plenty of fun bathing for the whole family.
How to reach Therma Laa:You can reach Laa an der Thaya by ÖBB train in around 1 hour from Vienna. The railway station in Laa an der Thaya is just 200 metres away from the Therme Laa. Hotel guests can be picked up if requested.
